The Chairman/CEO

Maria Amor Torres, was born and raised in the Philippines, where she learned not only how to become a successful businessperson, but also how to care for and treat people incredibly well. Maria obviously has been exposed to the finer things in life, such as “treat people like you wished that they would treat you”, or and “love your neighbor as yourself”, for she has used faith, a strong family upbringing, and a great education, to mold or combine, as if with a soldering iron, alchemist style, love and business to provide social services in a very creative, heartfelt, and entertaining way. Her educational foundation probably was buttressed by, her affiliation with The Girl Scouts of the Philippines, where she was honored as Girl Scout of the Year, Philippines from 1984-1986, recipient of Gerry Roxas Leadership Award and a consistent honor student in elementary and highschool. Maria is a rare dichotomy of beauty and business.  At the early age of 19 years, with a business and arts background, she established MLCT Oriental Furniture.  She later branched out to the manufacture of handicrafts out of indigenous and recycled materials.  Maria grew up, and promptly relocated to The United States and here, in California  is one of the places ——–as she does business internationally too—-where she has chosen to make her mark.

Maria, the philanthropist, came into being in 2003 when she founded The Katawang Pinoy Foundation with the aim of uplifting the lives of body builders, aerobics instructors and other related fields of endeavor. Cambridge Who’s Who, Fil-Am Chamber of San Fernando Valley, Board Member of –COTIFA (Council On Trade and Industry for Filipino Americans), founded Exotifit for Humanity, a nonprofit organization. Maria says, “Our mission is to promote Health, Fitness and Sexiness the Exotifit way. She has used this company as a napkin to wipe away many a tear of thousands of disadvantaged individuals worldwide. According to Maria, “I created Exotifit to revolutionize Fitness the practical, effective and entertaining way. It’s based on several dance styles and fused with raw energy, rhythm and sensuality.”

Maria Amor Torres has taken the worlds of dance, beauty and fitness to new heights, as she is the consummate professional entrepreneur and creative titan, who lives to inspire others by taking decisive action, Maria says, “I’m a doer, not a talker.  What is paramount to me is executing my vision, living my dreams with passion, and to being the designer of my destiny.”

Maria Amor is the creator of Ms. Exoti-Lady World Pageant, a personal and social development opportunity for women 35 years of age and older, of diverse nationalities, The Search for Mr. & Ms. Perfect Creature, the 1st and 2nd Annual Global Independence Day, and 4th Annual Sheriff’s Show are just few of Maria’s successful endeavors.

  1. I was thinking of publishing or posting online some of my articles I’ve written for school but can’t afford to copyright them. If they are in my school paper, do I hold any ownership over them or are they protected by law?.

  2. Very great visual appeal on this website , I’d value it 10 10.
