Dr.ARUNA CHOPRA-IN THE WHITE HOT SPOTLIGHT. NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED?

Arguably one of the funniest moments in not only  tv land history,but also in pop sports culture——–sports stars use this action to silently taunt and rebuke each other——–was a Sienfeld moment that saw Babu , an Indian immigrant loose his citizenship, get deported, due to Jerry’s mistake with his INS papers,  and produce, his long, single, side to side, wagging finger, while recounting his misfortune on being returned to India, and telling his friend , as if warning him, that, ‘Jerry Seinfeld is a very, very very bad man’. Infact, it is almost impossible to go a sporting event and not see  a plethora of giant one fingered , modestly priced hand props, wagging like a sea of support for or againt the opposing team. In a bizarre finger pointing, and totally unfunny twist of chicanery and or fate, an incredibly benevolent, philanthropic,  and intelligent Indian doctor, named Aruna Chopra, turned real estate mogul, is being not only falsely accused, her career and reputation severely tainted, by false decrees of fraud in a proposed Modesto realestate develpoment, gone sour, called “The Plaza at Date. One would have to believe in the tooth fairy to believe that a doctor, and immigrant from India, that has devoted her life to not only helping people, but infact with the cooperation and partnership of her family, have improved the plight of many, in Modesto and India, as well, is now shucking it all to devote her  life to forging checks, and defrauding investors full time. If this were the case, one would obviously have to infer that the future for such acts are both profitable—prison time—and tantamount to being sought after, as if it  is the stuff that “the American Dream” is made of.

This is how this nightmare has unravelled. Two separate lawsuits, alleging  forged signatures and fraud  were filed, according to The Modesto Bee publication,  against Dr. Chopra. The litigational nightmare and chronological  problems are  documented    and  described  by The Modesto Bee  staff writer Garth Stapley, who  can be reached at gstapley@modbee.com, as beginning in January 2009, until March 2012.  According to Stapley’s article in the modesto Bee, The FBI and  District Attorney Birgit Fladager are mum on any investigations, and her attorney explained Andrew Mendlin this nightmare as a title company mistake.

One would say that it is a “stretch” to be expected to sniff, nibble, and ingest such happenings as the beginnings of a rich life of crime; Dr. Chopra throwing away 25 to 30 years of experience in real estate and medicine. It boggles the mind how such incongruities can occur.This crises has stalled the development of Dr. Chopra’s “baby”———The Plaza at Dale.

This project, according to The Modesto Bee, is designed to promote, through walking and various activities,  a healthy dual-focused dynamic, as one would be able to indulge in physical and employment like activities here.It is located accross from The kaiser Hospital. It would offer, an atmosphere, in which  all of the amenities of a vibrant city are afforded to its residents. This project was designed to have  everything there centrally located so that its residents were capable of enjoying the following benefits:(according to the Modesto Bee’s staff writer Garth Stapley)

Medical access, as it is located across the street from Kaiser Hospital; businees parks, pools; routes for walking and bicycle use; An elegant large Sheraton Hotel-2 levels and  outside cafe; six scrreen cinema, which includes an IMAX; gym or sauna; bowling alleys; restaurants and shopping venues; condoes;

Dr. Chopra has, according to The Modesto Bee’s writer Garth Stapley, helped nonprofit organizations, such as battered womens shelters; helped the poor and the homeless; founded The Chopra Development Enterprises, which has helped create  jobs and helped businesses; helped local police department, and the homeless in the community ;non profit organizations like The Children’s Crisis Center; The Women’s Leadership Council of Stanislaus; Modesto Police Department Toys for Tots; The Indian Cultural Socity; supportsThe Stanislaus County Economic Development and Workforce Alliance.

One would say that it is a “stretch” to be expected to sniff, nibble, and ingest such happenings as the beginnings of a rich life orf crime; Dr. Chopra throwing away 25 to 30 years of experience in real estate and medicine. It boggles the mind how such incongruities can occur. According to Dr. Chopra’s attorney, quoted by The Modesto Bee’s, Stapley, as declining to discuss any FBI or district attorney litigation, said   ‘It is being corrected,”explained Andrew Mendlin. He said , “It is a title company mistake and the project will, as Dr. Aruna Chopra is committed to rectifying this problem, be moving ahead in the very near future”.

Dr. Chopra studied and graduated with a Masters  and a Bachelors in family medicine and business,  in India, respectively.  Aruna Chopra, founder of The Chopra Development Enterprises,   has over 25 years of experience in property development, from project acquisition, to construction, and according to the , Modesto Bee, in the article Special Sections Women in Business,  Page 9 ‘ Dr. Aruna Chopra – over 30 years of building healthy bodies, and healing. She is the founder and CEO of Chopra Development Enterprises. The CDE has worked and helped, create jobs, both on a private, residential, retail, mixed use , and industrial business parks projects. Dr. Chopra also has over 25 years as a doctor. Her CDE has helped shelters, such as the Haven Battered Women’s Shelter; helped local police department, and the homeless in the community ;non profit organizations like The Children’s Crisis Center; The Women’s Leadership Council of Stanislaus; Modesto Police Department Toys for Tots; The Indian Cultural Socity;Infact, according to The Modesto Bee, The CDE is a supporter of The Stanislaus County Economic Development and Workforce Alliance. This partnership has, according to The Bee, helped create thousands of jobs and job training for Stanislaus residents through successful mixed use developments’ .She is a medical doctor and a partner of Modesto’s Pulmanary Clinic.The Indian Cultural Socity; Infact, according to The Modesto Bee, The CDE is a supporter of The Stanislaus County Economic Development and Workforce Alliance.  It would appear that, having been like an angel for over 30 years and helping, not only improve lives and infact save them ,r. Chopra is being punished for having done a great job on her earthly journey. I hope that her project comes to fruition and good girls get to finsih first and not badly treated and in last place!

I was born in Fountainbleu in Paris France to an army family. My father ,Ruben Smith, and my mother Nancy Smith, worked for the Army and as a school teacher in France, respectively.We are originally from the South. My father’s people from Misissippi and Alabama and my mom’s from South Carolina. I am an avid sports fan and I attended and played sports----football, wresting, and track----- at Bishop England High School, in Charleston, South Carolina; my mom chose both a Catholic high school and an elementary school, Immaculate Conception, for my sister and I. Initially, I wasted a lot of time in school pursuing sports and partying but nevertheless,I went to the College of Charleston, The University of South Carolina, where I majored in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, with a minor in Theatre and Speech. I finally graduated from The University of Redlands, in Redlands, CA with a degree in business management. I managed to get into SAG-AFTRA, mostly as an extra, but I have done an occasional speaking stint here and there—CD-ROMs, experimental and industrial films, and voice overs in radio. My most recent endeavor was playing a doctor on "Grey's Anatomy". I like horror, love, thrillers, and I like to read. Weightliftingand jogging are some of my hobbies also. Interestingly enough, my family prepared me for a life on the move, as I have been to every state in The USA except for Alaska and Hawaii. I have an older sister who chose the teaching profession and is doing quite fine. What was i like as a child? Well I tend to think that I existed and flourished within "a culture of hate"--------however South Carolina has ceased and desisted with both "The jim Crow Laws' and flying the Confederate Flag------------I witnessed "colored only" bathrooms, and was in establishments where the Klan showed up. I stayed at hotels where my family and I found pounds of raw CHITTERLINS---hogs guts----- at our doorstep!! But don't get me wrong, as despite these ugly truths about the South, I grew up with some very cool whites, mexicans, Filipino's and other races. But it is what it is. It has Metamorphosized into being a cultural and real estate melting pot, as many from other states are recently flocking there for the cheaper home prices, very stable, safer lifestyle and "bible belt" mentality, and affordable education. I too have Metamorphosized , as I am not the militant little athletic, and partying freak I used to be and have settled into writing for Cold Heat News and assisting We Care for Humanity with their charitable functions. Consequently, I am pretty much a normal army brat who has realized that life is what you make it and people and things are subject to change. So change with life and let by gones be by gones. My dad has since passed away, and my mom and sister and most of my cousins are still alive, but their positive,significant influence, along with the impact my elementary and high school friends have had on me continues on;infact, I believe, where it not for my childhood friends, my high school football Coach Jack Cantey and occasional teenage battles with my dad, I would have become a gang member! Thus my personal manifesto is, Live hard, party when it is time, and utilize both education, and Love for God, and know that FAMILY AND FRIENDS are most important;They're one's conduit for a viable and happy life. ALSO, A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND---NOT A "FAIR WEATHER"------INDEED.
