holy mollloniess. pulled an allnighter working on a bunch of stuff w/ my manager in prep’s for The Hollywood Reporter article coming out in a few hours (from my interview last week) — heres a fun postcard scotty made announcing the films i worked on last year. our goal is to secure rep with a top level agency – (IN MEMORY OF HER LATE MANAGER SCOTTY DUGAN)

Jenn Gottzon, from the countryside of the Lehigh Valley in PA, Hollywood’s best kept secret  and The 2008 Best Actress Award Winner of both The Wildwood By The Sea Film festival, where she helped launch, the ever growing national craze “The Inspiring Audiences” progream, whose focus is to motivate, students and young and old adults to be successful, and The 168 Film Festival, with numerous acting awards under  her belt, having garnered various acting awards, in addition to having starred in the  superstar, highly respected veteran producer and legendary actor, Ron Howard’s —of The Andy Griffith Show fame—-5 time Oscar nominated film, “Frost/Nixon”, has raised her beautiful head, and is poised to take Hollywood by storm via a new highly galvanized “re-invented” career ,riding possibly a superstar vehicle-like-package giving her multiple  female leading  roles in 9 consecutive major feature films, beginning with the August 28, 2012 ,DVD release of the film, “I Am Gabriel”, which was, according to Shelly Wood, of SDI Marketing, screened at The 2008 San Diego Christian Film Festival, and will continue time releasing these films, , from now thru 2013; “Doonby”; “Alone Not Yet Alone”; “God’s Country”; “The Screen Writers”; “Dragon Day”; Dante’s Inferno”;  “Untouched”; “September Skies”; and “The Devine Comedy Series”.

JENN GOTZON OF “GOD’S COUNTRY”-IN HER OWN WORDS. ‘Tomorrow, i leave to shoot Writers’ Block (story set in 1940’s old hollywood) with dear friends from 1700 French and Indian war movie Alone Yet Not Alone & then on Oct 15, a sneak peak screening of an entertaining family dramedy Godscountry-themovie at Gig Harbor Film Festival directed by my talented husband Chris Armstrong. Does anyone live near Seattle, WA and would like to attend? We are meeting at 10am 🙂 ‘
JENN GOTZON AND FRIENDS–word is in!!! Doonby The Movie got its first review (yay) and opens tomorrow near Dallas, TX & Chatannooga, TN. Here’s the trailer: & a fun shot of the Doonby stars John Schneider and Ernie Hudson who, ALSO WAS IN GHOSTBUSTER I & 2, did an extraordinary job in the movie!!! 🙂
JENN GOTZON –IN HER OWN WORDS. ‘ cloud nine for the trailer of Alone Yet Not Alone – i took a screenshot (from the trailer) of one of my cherished experiences as an actress playing historical character Lydia who sacrificed herself to save the children. “For the Lord will never leave you or forsake you” ‘
IN JENN’S WORDS FROM HER FACEBOOK PAGE–‘ Beautiful day today spending time with our dear friends Dawn and Pierre Kennel from Doonby The Movie (who are visiting Los Angeles this week from Texas.) Pierre is a ambitious-creative actor who played a stellar cowboy in DOONBY. (he’s standing on left side of John Schneider in the photo)! My hubby and I adore how great Dawn and Pierre are. Dawn gave us the BEST itinerary ever for our daytrip to Austin TX and so kindly got us in to eat at the BEST sushi restaurant ever Uchi. They are the BEST!’
The most loving and supportive family… at the Wildwood By The Sea Film Festival after Jenn received her Rising Star Award… (L – R) Husband/Filmmaker Chris Armstrong, Actress Jenn Gotzon, Loving Mother Jo-Ann Gotzon, Inventor Father Ronnie Gotzon, Model/Stylist Sister Shelly Gotzon.— with Shelly Gotzon in Wildwood, NJ.Jenn Gotzon
Rick Hansberry (writer) & George Heredia (director)’s film “Chemistry” in which JENN GOTZON stars as the romantic comedy’s lead … Speed Dating with a Twist!

Gotzon,a born again Christian, along with such film notalbles as Dennis Quaid, Sandra Bullock, Helen Hunt, teenaged hit singer, Justin bieber, Fox, Sony, Disney, Mandalay Picture’s David Zelon, and  Megan Colligan, Co-President of Domestic Marketing of Paramount Pictures, according to the authors cited as Bond, Paul, of EBSCOHOST.COM’s article, “The Case of the Disappearing Bible”, per The Hollywood Reporter’s motion picture revue on February 25, 2011, Vol 417, issues 7, pages 28-29, 2p, of the movies, “Soul Surfer”, “Doonby”, and “Never Say Never”, have all worked in faith based Christian films. The article further expounded that such films walk on a perilous tight rope type of dynamic, as its aim is  to satisfy Christian and non-christian movie goes’s film tastes. For instance, Bullock’s film, “Blind Side”, figured out how to do this  and generated 250 million domestically, earning her an Oscar Award; Sony’s “Facing the  Giants” made 10 million from an $100,000 investment, and Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never”, generated, $30 million for its opening weekend, last February 11. The H. Reporter went on to say that Paramount’s Co-President Megan Colligan, used a strategy in which, via screenings for religious leaders prior to making it privy to other markets, allowed the power of “word of mouth “advertising” to not only have its impact , but also secure the success of Bieber’s film——though according to The H Reporter, MTV never devulges his links to Christianity—–“Never Say Never.”  Meanwhile, on the set of “Doonby”, Gotzon, according to The H Reporter, in one scene,  had to have her wardrobe altered, as too much cleavage was seen,  and its writer-director Peter Mackenzie said that he knows he has a winner and one that  will satisfy the Christian market, as it has very similar themes,  as the Jimmy Stewart Christmas classic, “It’s A Wonderful Life”.

Interestingly enough, Dennis Quaid’s film, “Soul Surfer”, laden with Christian themes, about a female surfer who lost an arm,  and successfully returned to active competition, from a shark attact, was fought tooth and nail—–Quaid won and it remained in the film— over the usage of not only scripture, but also scenes showing the words ” The Bible” on The Bible!

Jen takes time out or her busy schedule to also visit, aid, and utilize her skills and star power to  ventures such  as David Mirisch Enterprises,s THE BALLS O FIRE CELEBRITY TOURNAMENT: Foothill AIDS Project, since  2003; GARDEN GROVE ROTARY CLUB CELEBRITY SOFTBALL GAME Celebrities vs. Community Supporters; since 2006; American Heart Association Stars of the Heart Celebrity Gala- All are David Mirisch Enterprises’s ventures;THE BEACON where she Co-head’s an outreach program for Motion Picture Retirement Home volunteers; Gotzon also assists FIDELTY FUTURE STAGE, raise money for instruments for  children by visitting  the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, signing  the Future Stage Board, as every signature results in a  donation of $1 and also she helps Fidelity, via a music and theater arts education program, mentor to  middle and high school students, with a focus on their future stabilty. As an ambassador for both Christianity and Hollywood alike, she ministers to  schools through her youth outreach endeavors which included The Life Church (Allentown, PA. , where she  wowed them with a Screening and Q&A of “Stained”———-“Stained” received 13 nominations, 8 wins including: Best Actress (Jenn Gotzon), Best Film, Audience Award, and made cinematic history being the first film shot on the RED Camera ,EVER, to win a film festival———————–and “Break These Chains”. Jenn speaks to youths about how these fims relate to their lives, gives insights into, not only her life, but also guidance and unveils the true nature of Hollywood, including  the realities of her plight within “Tinseltown”. Jen has also been nice enough, though,   I unaware of the magnitude of her clebrityship, to surprise me by appearing on my KNBSTV, “The Maurice Dwayne Smith Show”, in Hollywood, at The American Radio Network’s Studio,  with her friend Barbara Kerr Condon, as  they were plugging their film, “Three Times A Lady”.

Consequently, It is apparent that Jenn gotzon may explode out of a theare and straight into the Academy Awards very soon. Infact, I feel Gotzon’s expertise is such that she may require the coinage of new words to describe her worth, and her impact on not only sociey ,but also,  on the world by the time she is done. Undaunted by the stunning and almost outrageously mostrous events that are exploding daily  in this world, Gotzon trudges on with her very talented and attractive self on through cinematic and surreal refuse-like-events,called reality, and makes bold advances in film, her life.  and her ministry; with advances more impressive than that which preceded it. Certainly as her 9 movie package as the lead female unravels, many accolades and leverage within the entertainment industry and life will ensue, but I don’t feel that it is fair to Jenn to compare her to anyone,  though Reece Witherspoon’s meteoric ascent to Hollywood’s stratosphere comes to mind; I feel that once one does their  due diligence, and watches Gotzon’s  work, if room is not allowed for her to work or grow, a this pace, this angelic sweet blonde non-chubby cherubim may kick the darn door down and take her rightly place on top. Thus, it should be clear to see that Teabow is not the only Christian making headlines in the entertainment field, as Gotzon is boldly making great money making films, Inspiring and motivating while keeping her clothes on, and unashamedly speaking of Christ, while she does it! I KNOW I AM GOING TO SEE ALL  OF JENN GOTZON’S FILMS……AND SOME

I was born in Fountainbleu in Paris France to an army family. My father ,Ruben Smith, and my mother Nancy Smith, worked for the Army and as a school teacher in France, respectively. We are originally from the South. My father’s people from Misissippi and Alabama and my mom’s from South Carolina. I am an avid sports fan and I attended and played sports----football, wresting, and track----- at Bishop England High School, in Charleston, South Carolina; my mom chose both a Catholic high school and an elementary school, Immaculate Conception, for my sister and I. Initially, I wasted a lot of time in school pursuing sports and partying but nevertheless,I went to the College of Charleston, The University of South Carolina, where I majored in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, with a minor in Theatre and Speech. I finally graduated from The University of Redlands, in Redlands, CA with a degree in business management. I managed to get into SAG-AFTRA, mostly as an extra, but I have done an occasional speaking stint here and there—CD-ROMs, experimental and industrial films, and voice overs in radio. My most recent endeavor was playing a doctor on "Grey's Anatomy". I like horror, love, thrillers, and I like to read. Weightliftingand jogging are some of my hobbies also. Interestingly enough, my family prepared me for a life on the move, as I have been to every state in The USA except for Alaska and Hawaii. I have an older sister who chose the teaching profession and is doing quite fine. What was i like as a child? Well I tend to think that I existed and flourished within "a culture of hate"--------however South Carolina has ceased and desisted with both "The jim Crow Laws' and flying the Confederate Flag------------I witnessed "colored only" bathrooms, and was in establishments where the Klan showed up. I stayed at hotels where my family and I found pounds of raw CHITTERLINS---hogs guts----- at our doorstep!! But don't get me wrong, as despite these ugly truths about the South, I grew up with some very cool whites, mexicans, Filipino's and other races. But it is what it is. It has Metamorphosized into being a cultural and real estate melting pot, as many from other states are recently flocking there for the cheaper home prices, very stable, safer lifestyle and "bible belt" mentality, and affordable education. I too have Metamorphosized , as I am not the militant little athletic, and partying freak I used to be and have settled into writing for Cold Heat News and assisting We Care for Humanity with their charitable functions. Consequently, I am pretty much a normal army brat who has realized that life is what you make it and people and things are subject to change. So change with life and let by gones be by gones. My dad has since passed away, and my mom and sister and most of my cousins are still alive, but their positive, significant influence, along with the impact my elementary and high school friends have had on me continues on;infact, I believe, where it not for my childhood friends, my high school football Coach Jack Cantey and occasional teenage battles with my dad, I would have become a gang member! Thus my personal manifesto is, Live hard, party when it is time, and utilize both education, and Love for God, and know that FAMILY AND FRIENDS are most important; They're one's conduit for a viable and happy life. ALSO, A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND---NOT A "FAIR WEATHER"------INDEED.
