His Highness Duke Michael David Peschka Will Be Honored As Distinguished Artist of The Year By G.O.D. Awards

His Highness Duke Michael David Peschka is being honored at the G.O.D. Awards because of his contribution to Arts globally.

The Duke is officially known as His Highness Duke Michael David Peschka, Dux Bellorum, A.A., I.P.P., Kt. ISOK, Kt. SMA, HKt. OOT. Drawing from the age of three and painting from the age of eight, Michael is a life-long artist and was first exhibited at the age of eleven at the prestigious Laguna Gloria Art Museum in Austin, Texas. In 1981 Michael’s dear friend Caja Palffy, Countess of Pressburg and Erdod (daughter of Dorothy, Princess Radziwill, niece of Gladys, Duchess of Marlborough and cousin of Gina, Princess Liechtenstein) arranged for Michael to apprentice with the official portrait artist to King Baudouin, of Belgium. Michael studied intensely under the maitre in his atelier in Bruxelles, interrupted only by official visitors from the palace regarding state portraits commissioned of the master. Michael also studied the techniques of art restoration; his final examination was to restore a badly damaged painting of the Madonna and child with St. John from the 16th century school of Raphael. Michael passed this exam with glowing compliments. Upon returning to the United States Michael continued his work in portraiture but also expanded into theater set design and backdrop painting as well as commercial and residential murals, decorative painting and other areas of the arts.

HH Michael is currently the official Artistic Adviser and Imperial Portrait Painter to HIRM Czar Darius Adrik Salvo I Noto Von Holstein-Gottorp Trifiro Kings and to HIRH Prince Gharios of Ghassan . Mochael’s works are included in many noteworthy collections such as those of Countess Caja Palffy, Count Nicolas Raskovanyi Vay, Countess Tatania Kurbatov, HIRM Czar Waldemar Sidelnikov Von Essen, Nicholas Harvey Vanderbilt, Michael Jay Vanderbilt, the estate of the late Milton Goldman of New York. Current work includes portraits of Zprincess Norma Chehab of Lebanon and HR-IH Crown Prince Jorge Rurikovitch.
