TANIA ZEE’S INTERNSHIP GAMES IS ABOUT TO LAND AND EVERYONE IS BLOWIN UP–THE PROTEGE OF LEGENDARY SAUL TURTELTAUB HAS GONE FULL BLOWN.

Tania Zee’s  satirical controversial socio-economic-politically charged brain tinkler————–“Hunger Games” eye winker——— “The Intership Games”, in which six college applicants, amidst stereotypical, but real life drama scenarios, vie for coveted ,valuable internships at Econo Air, not only wet the palate of talent scouts,  and reality tv shows, but also helped propel and launch, various members of her cast into starring roles within the entertainment arena; The Hunger in her Games also solidified her greatness in the minds of network executives, three projects, including  an undisclosed Emmy award winner guided project-pilot,  hang, like the sword of Damocles over the heads of “THE NEXT BIG THING”,  burning and sizzling, looming on her horizon, as the highly anticipated film becomes available for purchase on Tuesday July 28, 2015.

According to a press release from Ha Thi Kim PR, ITN Distribution INC will release Zee’s  Bajan Film Work’s  potential blockbuster within a trifecta conduit dynamic using the most popular Video on Demand technology; International sales, as DVD distribution, excluding South Africa, along with parts of Asia begins in the Fall,  with  total sales distribution comprising fully and totally within sub-Saharan Africa, Tuesday July 28, 2015.

.In addition, Saul Turteltaub, creator and writer of some of the most famous legendary shows, such as “Sanford and Son”, “That Girl”, “What’s Happening”, “The Dick Van Dyke Show” and among others, George Clooney’s star making vehicle, “E/R”,  Upon reading and visualizing Internship Games,  said that ” not only is it fresh, and original and professional  I have no doubt that she can have a great career. ”  Furthermore,  one must agree, arguably that  Turteltaub  has the midas touch, having had the right hunch on how to,  not only,  make the next “IT” in Hollywood, but also, for over 40 year, quite effectively gauge what appeals to the masses,  and he thinks the world of Tania Zee—actress / model, director /, producer / writer. In fact, he was quite impactful in Zee’s life, having helped hone her acting and screenwriting skills via his mentorship dynamics. Apparently, the apple hasn’t  fallen too far from the tree as Tania has come up with this comedic/socio-economic- satire-  drama, as she has tapped into a wealth of her own, and her protégé’s both excel and they are doing her proud.

Tania’s star power— poised to rock later in the year with an undisclosed Emmy award winner guided project/pilot—- has rubbed off on the cast of this show which frankly “keeps it notoriously too damn real”, as careers have been created and galvanized and manifesting her faith in them with works such as these; actress and beauty queen Bella Maori, Ms. Black Upland and now Cannes Film writer’s three projects, “DISILLUSION OF PRETTY BUTTERFLIES”, now a short film,  and a play, “The Unexpected”, directed by her #1 UK chart topping singer sister, Gina Carey , followed by a  web-series, “The  River”;  Lindsay Kay Hayward, former Professional wrestler, (R100), TLC Network television series,  6′ 9″, Guiness World Record’s tallest actress in a leading role, “My Giant Life”; Tonya Lee Banks 4 ft tall, “Little Women”, of “Bad Santa”, “Death to Smoochy” fame; Briana Manson of “Little Women”; Leif Manson, “Little Women” Tosh.0, Survivor; Paul Blart: “Mall Cop 2” ; Elena Ray, “What We Live For”;  JQ Cole now stars in Black & Sexy TV’s “Sexless”;  David Wunderlich,  (Econo AIr’s Repairman) landed a recurring role on General Hospital;  ——-the other members od the cast are steadily pumping out new hit wonders!

In addition, Saul Turteltaub, creator and writer of some of the most famous legendary shows, such as “Sanford and Son”, “That Girl”, “What’s Happening”, “The Dick Van Dyke Show” and among others, George Clooney’s star making vehicle, “E/R”, arguably has the midas touch, having had the right hunch on how to, not only,  make the next “IT” in Hollywood,, but also, how to gauge what appeals to the masses,  and he thinks the world of Tania Zee—Actress / Model, Director / Directing Dept., Producer / Writer. In fact, he was quite impactful in Zee’s life, having helped hone her acting and screenwriting skills via his screenwriter’s boot camp. Apparently, the apple hasn’t  fallen to far from the tree as Tania has come up with this comedic/socio-eco satire drama, as she has tapped into a wealth of her own, as her protégé’s both excel and they are doing her proud.

Interestingly enough, The military veteran’s group VTF(Veterans in Television and Film), is an iconic nonprofit networking group, comprised of former and current military personnel turned actors or entertainment professionals and quite a few of them, as Zee is a veteran as well, worked on this project too. Zee’s  Private First Class tour of military duty in The Army,  before becoming an actress / model, director /  producer /  and writer extraordinaire,  was facilitated by her studies  within the military,  acquiring expert rifleman, and grenade skills, in route to  garnering a physical fitness award. She is also an All-league basketball player, as her physical and eye to hand coordination has made her very awesome at hand to hand combat, kickboxing, and athletic endeavors.

Consequently, Tania Zee’s film, and production crew mostly female,  which will have you thirsting if not “Hungering” for more will make you laugh and it is also a most timely analysis of both the academic system, the grants and how they are issued to college students. But ultimately, much like her mentor  Saul Turtelbaub’s  ability to turn sterotypes into a glimpse of truths,  sexual and social mores, norms, biases and a funny satirical journey into a world seen, little known and not eagerly ideolized as an excellent final destination, her Internship Games makes one look , within each of us,   straining , and stretching, yearning  for want of a better word, to empathize what one would do to get a  “a taste of the American pie, The American Dream”.
What would you do or say if pushed when the very necessary springboard or educational conduit ,  like a dog chasing a rabbit on the raceway, is dangled in front of you, and always painfully  just out of  reach — your life passing you by. What would you use to get the rabbit and what would burst out Freudian or otherwise if the stakes were at their zenith and you knew that this could be the difference to making 5 or 6 figures or hoping you didn’t wind up making minimum wage? The 70’s Turtelbaub’s  legendary hit sitcom, “Sanford and Son” poked at race, sexual orientation, racism, agism and more. It also made us identify with and empathize with the particants of these scenarios. It made us look at life deep in its eyes, take a direct blatant shot and make a stand, a decision and wonder . “What would I do”? This film brings it home the same way. Many students are struggling and competing to grab the dream and sometimes the obstacles for obtaining an advantage in getting a helping hand, which in this instance, is an internship, is sometimes not predicated on race, gender, height, sexual orientation, or is it? This film is a must see and we owe Tania Zee an apple for allowing us a glimpse into the probability of or view of the  improbability of scenarios otherwise unthought of or even talked about. Internship Games is a must see. It will, as Arsenio Hall used to say, make you say, “H.m.m.m.m.m.m.m.m.”.

I was born in Fountainbleu in Paris France to an army family. My father ,Ruben Smith, and my mother Nancy Smith, worked for the Army and as a school teacher in France, respectively. We are originally from the South. My father’s people from Misissippi and Alabama and my mom’s from South Carolina. I am an avid sports fan and I attended and played sports----football, wresting, and track----- at Bishop England High School, in Charleston, South Carolina; my mom chose both a Catholic high school and an elementary school, Immaculate Conception, for my sister and I. Initially, I wasted a lot of time in school pursuing sports and partying but nevertheless,I went to the College of Charleston, The University of South Carolina, where I majored in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, with a minor in Theatre and Speech. I finally graduated from The University of Redlands, in Redlands, CA with a degree in business management. I managed to get into SAG-AFTRA, mostly as an extra, but I have done an occasional speaking stint here and there—CD-ROMs, experimental and industrial films, and voice overs in radio. My most recent endeavor was playing a doctor on "Grey's Anatomy". I like horror, love, thrillers, and I like to read. Weightliftingand jogging are some of my hobbies also. Interestingly enough, my family prepared me for a life on the move, as I have been to every state in The USA except for Alaska and Hawaii. I have an older sister who chose the teaching profession and is doing quite fine. What was i like as a child? Well I tend to think that I existed and flourished within "a culture of hate"--------however South Carolina has ceased and desisted with both "The jim Crow Laws' and flying the Confederate Flag------------I witnessed "colored only" bathrooms, and was in establishments where the Klan showed up. I stayed at hotels where my family and I found pounds of raw CHITTERLINS---hogs guts----- at our doorstep!! But don't get me wrong, as despite these ugly truths about the South, I grew up with some very cool whites, mexicans, Filipino's and other races. But it is what it is. It has Metamorphosized into being a cultural and real estate melting pot, as many from other states are recently flocking there for the cheaper home prices, very stable, safer lifestyle and "bible belt" mentality, and affordable education. I too have Metamorphosized , as I am not the militant little athletic, and partying freak I used to be and have settled into writing for Cold Heat News and assisting We Care for Humanity with their charitable functions. Consequently, I am pretty much a normal army brat who has realized that life is what you make it and people and things are subject to change. So change with life and let by gones be by gones. My dad has since passed away, and my mom and sister and most of my cousins are still alive, but their positive, significant influence, along with the impact my elementary and high school friends have had on me continues on;infact, I believe, where it not for my childhood friends, my high school football Coach Jack Cantey and occasional teenage battles with my dad, I would have become a gang member! Thus my personal manifesto is, Live hard, party when it is time, and utilize both education, and Love for God, and know that FAMILY AND FRIENDS are most important; They're one's conduit for a viable and happy life. ALSO, A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND---NOT A "FAIR WEATHER"------INDEED.
