(PRINCESS AMOR’S WORDS)–It was an unforgettable moment when my father from another Kingdom, His Majesty Anesulthan Sulthan, King of Jambi awarded me the Derjah Kerabat and honored me as one of the Princesses of Jambi. My deepest respect to you father and to my Royal brother, His Majesty HM Tuanku Mudarasulail Kiram, the legitimate Sultan of Sulu!

Princess   Maria Amor’s newly appointed post in Manila as Special Advisor to Director General of PEZA for USA and Middle-East, in December 27, 2016, has the world buzzing. What’s next? The Peza itself was created into law, by the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995,by  The Philippines’ Congress in 1995——- thus one must conclude that Amor is indeed becoming ever more impactful as both a  true political/economic duality dynamo. I would not be surprised to see her move up the ranks in the Philippines political hierarchy. The PEZA and its functions, appears to me to be mostly concerning investments and their incentives, to various departments or “special zones” and furthermore it mandates that Amor’s role is to ensure that  the best incentives are presented in a most alluring fashion—since she is streamlined towards USA and The Middle East—so that investment are made within not only The Philippines but to better the relationships with both afore mentioned countries, As such a duality exists as monetary as well as an ambassador for the Philippines’s partner medium dynamic.

The Princess is a former beauty queen, Ms. Asia, whose mercurial rise within the humanitarian circles, arguably has risen on her incredible intelligence, empathy for the downtrodden, but as she explained to me, last year per over a steak diner at The Santa Monica Elks, “It was the creation of my nonprofit, We Care for Humanity” which was the catalyst that has molded my incredible trajectory’. And also her incredible affection for her mother, Nanay Torres, whom recently passed away. She said, “All that I have become is because of what my mom, my hero and biggest inspirer, has instilled within me”. That golden touch also instilled within Amor the ability to converse, as her skills are so multi-diversified—actress, singer, humanitarian, writer, artist and sculptor, and more, with a multitude of the most diverse international and domestic people who one can imagine. In addition, her skills as an economic/entertainment humanitarian fundraiser and organizer, opened the door to this incredible woman who the world is witnessing being alchemized into a social and humanitarian phenomenon.

In Amor’s statement about her PZA appointment,  captured in her facebook page she said, ‘ Good morning! What a day, what a blessing!  I feel that my duty to my birth country has been validated!  Very honored and grateful for this appointment from the Philippine Government.  Quoting myself: “In my travels on regular basis for humanitarian and business purposes, my exposure to foreign investors is paramount. While building relationships and fostering diplomatic ties, I will always keep in mind the needs of our country to attract business investors, promote our industries and advertise tourism as well.” I want to thank my brother in good deeds, H.E. Ambassador Abdul Hannan M. Tago for being the number one instrument for making this appointment possible. His strong recommendation and guidance earned me the trust of PEZA. My deepest gratitude as well to Hon. Director General Ching Plaza for giving me the opportunity to contribute my influence and power to serve our country and people.’

Furthermore, in an article, entitled, Philippine Economic Zone Authority Tax Incentives, Posted by Dave on Sunday, September 28th, 2008, regarding owning corporations in the Philippines,  The (PEZA)  is  explained more fully as an incredible incentive designed to foster economic growth, spur investments and fuel great relations between the Philippines and other entities. It sates that, ‘ Companies that register and locate within an area that is under the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) are entitled to various tax incentives and other advantages. Usually enterprises located in a PEZA approved ecozone are required to export 100% of their production.’ I’m flabbergasted to learn of tax breaks called’ Holidays” and permanent citizenship afforded to foreign investors to their families as well, as part of the incentive packages afforded to certain entities under the right conditions. The article expounds more fully in that it explains,  in a paragraph listed as ” Incentives for Ecozone and IT Locators, ‘100% foreign ownership allowed except in activities which are limited by the Foreign Investment Negative List. Income Tax Holiday (ITH) or exemption from corporate income tax for 4 years, extendable to a maximum of 8 years; after which a special 5% tax on gross income (sales less direct costs) shall be paid in lieu of all national and local taxes.  The income tax holiday is not available for locators in the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and Clark Freeport Zone, they are entitled to the special 5% tax on gross income as described above. Exemption from duties and taxes on imported capital equipment, spare parts, supplies, raw materials. Tax credits will issued on breeding stocks or genetic materials when they are sourced locally. PEZA may grant the right to the locator on a case to case basis the sale of up to 30% of production to the domestic market. Exemption from wharfage dues and export taxes, imposts and fees. Permanent resident status for foreign investors and immediate family members. Employment of foreign nationals.Simplified import and export procedures. Other incentives under Executive Order 226 (Omnibus Investment Code of 1987), as may be determined by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority Board.’

Finally, it has got to be apparent the CEO of We Care for Humanity, formerly called Maria Amor, suddenly becoming Princess Maria Amor’s future is quite bright. Incredible she has shown her light on many for a short while in her young life, but her accolades, including being inducted into The International Women’s hall of Fame are too numerous to list here, she has amassed a legion of followers, and people who love her. Her appeals transcend mere politics, traverses race, creed, color, nationality, gender, sexual persuasion, and its trajectory is of love, born of love and fueled by love. What is the nuclear fission within that big heart is an extremely BIG BRAIN. The lady has it all and the secret is out, as he continues to morph into something else, constantly donning new hats, roles, disciplines and jobs. Congratulations on being appointed  as Special Advisor to Director General of PEZA for USA and Middle-East, in December 27, 2016. As they used to say to the recently late and great beloved actress Mary Tyler Moore, …’ YOU’RE GOING TO MAKE IT AFTER ALL!’ (Remember The theme song to The Mary Tyler Moore Show.)

I was born in Fountainbleu in Paris France to an army family. My father ,Ruben Smith, and my mother Nancy Smith, worked for the Army and as a school teacher in France, respectively. We are originally from the South. My father’s people from Misissippi and Alabama and my mom’s from South Carolina. I am an avid sports fan and I attended and played sports----football, wresting, and track----- at Bishop England High School, in Charleston, South Carolina; my mom chose both a Catholic high school and an elementary school, Immaculate Conception, for my sister and I. Initially, I wasted a lot of time in school pursuing sports and partying but nevertheless,I went to the College of Charleston, The University of South Carolina, where I majored in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, with a minor in Theatre and Speech. I finally graduated from The University of Redlands, in Redlands, CA with a degree in business management. I managed to get into SAG-AFTRA, mostly as an extra, but I have done an occasional speaking stint here and there—CD-ROMs, experimental and industrial films, and voice overs in radio. My most recent endeavor was playing a doctor on "Grey's Anatomy". I like horror, love, thrillers, and I like to read. Weightliftingand jogging are some of my hobbies also. Interestingly enough, my family prepared me for a life on the move, as I have been to every state in The USA except for Alaska and Hawaii. I have an older sister who chose the teaching profession and is doing quite fine. What was i like as a child? Well I tend to think that I existed and flourished within "a culture of hate"--------however South Carolina has ceased and desisted with both "The jim Crow Laws' and flying the Confederate Flag------------I witnessed "colored only" bathrooms, and was in establishments where the Klan showed up. I stayed at hotels where my family and I found pounds of raw CHITTERLINS---hogs guts----- at our doorstep!! But don't get me wrong, as despite these ugly truths about the South, I grew up with some very cool whites, mexicans, Filipino's and other races. But it is what it is. It has Metamorphosized into being a cultural and real estate melting pot, as many from other states are recently flocking there for the cheaper home prices, very stable, safer lifestyle and "bible belt" mentality, and affordable education. I too have Metamorphosized , as I am not the militant little athletic, and partying freak I used to be and have settled into writing for Cold Heat News and assisting We Care for Humanity with their charitable functions. Consequently, I am pretty much a normal army brat who has realized that life is what you make it and people and things are subject to change. So change with life and let by gones be by gones. My dad has since passed away, and my mom and sister and most of my cousins are still alive, but their positive, significant influence, along with the impact my elementary and high school friends have had on me continues on;infact, I believe, where it not for my childhood friends, my high school football Coach Jack Cantey and occasional teenage battles with my dad, I would have become a gang member! Thus my personal manifesto is, Live hard, party when it is time, and utilize both education, and Love for God, and know that FAMILY AND FRIENDS are most important; They're one's conduit for a viable and happy life. ALSO, A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND---NOT A "FAIR WEATHER"------INDEED.
