Regalong Edukason, which in English means, school supply distribution, is just one of the two humanitarian missions that Princess Maria Amor has undertaken, as her internationally acclaimed nonprofit, We Care for Humanity later in May 2017, celebrates “FOUNDERS MONTH”——————-“Zapatos de Esperanza”, in conjunction with H.E Marta Fox, former first lady of Mexico, Centro Fox, Crisma, and Vamos Mexico ,May 23, 2017 ——————————————when she enters  Mindanao Phillipines, in collaboration  with the Tribal Government of the Philippines, benefitting The Samalnon Tribe on Talikod Island,  an ambivalent area in serious need of monetary and sociopolitical-economic help; This area has been known to be beset by paramilitary ” duress” resulting  in deaths  of activists, journalists, and the routine denial of respect of its citizens’ rights, both moral and civil on an inhumane level. Amor celebrates both her birthday and the month that her brainchild nonprofit, We Care for Humanity, was created.

To look at Princess Maria Amor, former Miss Asia,  is to immediately become beset with her beauty, but upon further investigation one recognizes that this person is on a mission to help, save, defend, assist, and change bad to good or alchemize “sugar-honey-ice-tea” into gold!!! When people have been selectively “marginalized”–deprived of rights, benefits, food, water, medical supplies , access to socio-economic mobility, and  designated as “the other”– deprived of identity, and or stratified into a role as a minority,  pigeon holed as a second hand citizen, Amor has risen to the plate, “womaned up”, and brought her resources to save and help in the ta da nick of time.  One could make a case that Princess Maria Amor’s nonprofit, WCH is “recession proof”, as regardless of rain, sleet, snow, or danger and lack of money, she is there !

Udaipur City, IndiaThe event was attended by a roster of VVIP’s, dignitaries, royalty and celebrities like India’s superstar Salman Khan, Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Former President of Bangladesh Hussain Muhammad Ershad, Former President of Ecuador, Rosalia Arteaga Serrano, Filipino Senator Ferdinand Marcos, President and CEO of Forbes Michael S. Perlis and many more!

Interestingly enough, the Princess found time to rock and roll, rub elbows with monarchs and nowhere  was there a time to shine and glow than when she attended the royal wedding of the children, Varun Chaudhary and Anushree Tongya,  son of Nepal’s richest man, Binod Chaudhary and daughter of Rajasthan’s biggest jeweler Rajkumar Tongya, respectively,  in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.
Nepal’s only billionaire, and former recipient of The G.O.D Award’ s Indian Man of the year 2016,  and  Rajkumar Tongya,  Rajasthan’s jewel icon, amidst a throng,  which resembled he most richest and socio-economically upper stratified link to the world’s most beautiful people, last April 26-29, 2017, showcased many highly distinguished people. Some of the celebrities and dignitaries who attended were mega star Salman Khan,  and monarch, HIS HIGHNESS  Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, former President of Bangladesh Hussain Muhammad Ershad, former President of Ecuador, Rosalia Arteaga Serrano, Filipino Senator Ferdinand Marcos, and  President and CEO of Forbes Michael S. Perlis, to name a few.  The Princess blended right in as Cirque do Sol like performances and fantastic musicians did their thang at the Royal Palace!
In addition, further attesting to the Princess’s versatility in attending regal affairs as well as globe treading life saving missions, last April 24, 2017,     in conjunction with  His Excellency Jeff Goonewardena, Navodaya Foundation and delegations from America and Sri Lanka,  the Princess helped distribute cash, food, and school supplies  amidst 1500 children  and about 3,000 families,  consisting of two  Sinhalese and Tamil communities.
In regards to the Founder’s  Month “festivities”, Amor’s collaboration with the former first lady of Mexico, resides in Mexico and means “Shoes of Hope and is geared at providing shoes and other needed provisions to some of Mexico’s indigent population.  Both excursions by we Care for Humanity to Mexico  and Midanao, Philippines, is a journey of heart, love, steel resolve and courage, “cojones”—many men would not venture into  Talikod Island, The Philippines.

Furthermore, most glaringly,  to qualify and clarify where the Princess is going on her humanitarian mission to The Philippines, according to writer classified as  “whit’, September 30, 2015,  “piplinks”, Philippine Indigenous Peoples Links  ,  Lito Abion,  a 44 year old, Uber- like- motorcycle driver——-‘a  Indigenous activist,  a member of Tagdumahan, a Lumad (collective term for the indigenous peoples of Mindanao) organization in San Luis, Agusan del Sur. In conclusion, Princess Maria Amor is both brave, beautiful, very intelligent on apparently, on a holy mission. Her trips, which are both designed to serve as GodSend to both Mexico and the Philippines will be happening in conjunction with the Princess’s birthday in May. Her founder’s Month activities are also carried out by her entire staff and ambassadors, celebrating her birthday and manifesting that humanitarianism is why they are affiliated with her organization; Each WCH associate does their own humanitarian deed or deeds and the month becomes a heartfelt smoargasboard of empathy, helping people worldwide extravaganza. God Speed Princess Maria Amor.

I was born in Fountainbleu in Paris France to an army family. My father ,Ruben Smith, and my mother Nancy Smith, worked for the Army and as a school teacher in France, respectively. We are originally from the South. My father’s people from Misissippi and Alabama and my mom’s from South Carolina. I am an avid sports fan and I attended and played sports----football, wresting, and track----- at Bishop England High School, in Charleston, South Carolina; my mom chose both a Catholic high school and an elementary school, Immaculate Conception, for my sister and I. Initially, I wasted a lot of time in school pursuing sports and partying but nevertheless,I went to the College of Charleston, The University of South Carolina, where I majored in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, with a minor in Theatre and Speech. I finally graduated from The University of Redlands, in Redlands, CA with a degree in business management. I managed to get into SAG-AFTRA, mostly as an extra, but I have done an occasional speaking stint here and there—CD-ROMs, experimental and industrial films, and voice overs in radio. My most recent endeavor was playing a doctor on "Grey's Anatomy". I like horror, love, thrillers, and I like to read. Weightliftingand jogging are some of my hobbies also. Interestingly enough, my family prepared me for a life on the move, as I have been to every state in The USA except for Alaska and Hawaii. I have an older sister who chose the teaching profession and is doing quite fine. What was i like as a child? Well I tend to think that I existed and flourished within "a culture of hate"--------however South Carolina has ceased and desisted with both "The jim Crow Laws' and flying the Confederate Flag------------I witnessed "colored only" bathrooms, and was in establishments where the Klan showed up. I stayed at hotels where my family and I found pounds of raw CHITTERLINS---hogs guts----- at our doorstep!! But don't get me wrong, as despite these ugly truths about the South, I grew up with some very cool whites, mexicans, Filipino's and other races. But it is what it is. It has Metamorphosized into being a cultural and real estate melting pot, as many from other states are recently flocking there for the cheaper home prices, very stable, safer lifestyle and "bible belt" mentality, and affordable education. I too have Metamorphosized , as I am not the militant little athletic, and partying freak I used to be and have settled into writing for Cold Heat News and assisting We Care for Humanity with their charitable functions. Consequently, I am pretty much a normal army brat who has realized that life is what you make it and people and things are subject to change. So change with life and let by gones be by gones. My dad has since passed away, and my mom and sister and most of my cousins are still alive, but their positive, significant influence, along with the impact my elementary and high school friends have had on me continues on;infact, I believe, where it not for my childhood friends, my high school football Coach Jack Cantey and occasional teenage battles with my dad, I would have become a gang member! Thus my personal manifesto is, Live hard, party when it is time, and utilize both education, and Love for God, and know that FAMILY AND FRIENDS are most important; They're one's conduit for a viable and happy life. ALSO, A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND---NOT A "FAIR WEATHER"------INDEED.
